X100VI with 40MP and IBIS to be announced on February 20th
In multiple1 posts2 by3 FujiRumors.com4, the usually well informed site shares a couple of interesting rumors about Fujifilm's upcoming X100V successor: the X100VI.
X100VI announcement on February 20th
The X100VI is said to be announced the X100VI on February 20th, 2024 at the X-Summit 2024. It is not clear yet, though, when the actual release will be so that customers can (pre-)order the camera.
X100VI specs: 40MP sensor and IBIS
As expected, the X100VI is said to feature the same 40 megapixel sensor as the X-T5.
With the body having nearly the same dimensions as the current X100V, Fujifilm is rumored to have managed to include IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization) in the X100VI.
